I’m very nearly done with the insane schedule I’ve been following to meet my deadline for the trade show/convention. I’ve got one task remaining, not a very large one at that, and I have until the end of business on Monday to complete it. All in all, I’m feeling pretty relieved.
I’m not feeling very refreshed, however. On top of the exhaustion built up from working 15 hour days for a week straight, it’s 90 degrees and very humid today. I know that’s no big deal for a lot of people, but I’m used to much colder weather than this, and I feel like I’m going to die.
Consequently, I’m not feeling very motivated to sit in a hot house (we don’t have AC because we almost never need it) in front of my computer and work on the Taketori Katana update that I know is *long* overdue. I’d rather go sit in the back yard under a shade umbrella with my iced tea and watch the Bald Eagles play with the ravens across the pond, taking the occasional opportunity to run through the sprinkler with the kids (yes, I still do that).
So, to those of you who are waiting and wondering just when the hell I’ll get around to making that update available, I ask for just a little more patience please. I need a break, and today is the day I’m taking it.

Damn skippy man you needed the break it sound like. Glad to hear you got in some good hours though, those are always nice on the paycheck. Its even better to hear that you have a semi normal schedule ahead of you.

Don’t feel pressured to update the Taketori every two minutes. It’s doing good as is. Of course you have people calling it a cheap weapon but, I don’t see it. Have fun. Take more time off. We’ll survive. I mean it’s not like you see the others updating there stuff like mad. :p Enjoy spring and what not. Then get to work on mass weapons! XD jk jk PEACE!
@Zero – I’m paid on a salary basis at the moment, so makes no difference to my paycheck other than the fact that I get to enjoy getting one a little longer
@Shindo – What exactly does “cheap weapon” mean anyways? Well, screw them, I’m doing the best I can. They are certainly welcome to develop their own combat system and try to make it better than C:SI, haha. I do these updates for the people that appreciate the work I put into the swords, and the hell with everyone else. I’ve only got so much time available to me, I can’t just pull this shit outta my ass
Gots to pick up my nephew from the airport today, he just finished his basic training for the Army, and we would like to see him before he gets deployed. That’s gonna slow me down a little too, but I’ll be able to get a bunch of work done on it tonight after he heads off to see his mom.
