As you can see from the snapshot above, I’ve put up a new page on the official C:SI website that simply displays the results of the last 25 duels. If you want to see more than 25 duels, you can still choose to view the C:SI Twitter Feed, but I think I actually prefer to be able to view this data in the C:SI website itself.
Is this data important? No, of course not. But it’s really interesting to me personally, as without something like this it’s sometimes hard to get a firm grasp on how big C:SI is, and how fast it’s growing.
We all know of those in our own clans, of course, and probably many members of some of the other clans as well, but not only are there more clans than ever before, but there are literally thousands of people who are not in a clan and do not regularly socialize with those that are.
When you see a scrolling list of duels that never seems to stop 24/7, it becomes a little more obvious just what it means to have over twenty-one thousand people using C:SI weapons. It’s really amazing at times for a Second Life content creator to see in such a clear manner just how many people use the products he or she makes. Even though I’m just a small part of the C:SI team, it’s gratifying to see what I’m a part of becoming so popular.
And it really drives home for me why I wanted to join C:SI rather than try to strike out on my own, as many people had initially encouraged me to do. I could never have created such a huge and active community on my own
