Thank you for your support

I want to thank everyone for their support regarding my recent ban from Second Life.  I still have not heard any reason from Linden Lab as to why I was banned, but the support from many members of the Combat: Samurai Island community has been very heartwarming and appreciated.

I have several projects ‘in development’ for the C:SI community which I am currently unable to finish due to these recent circumstances, but I’d like to show my appreciate for your support by giving out a free copy of a building I had been working on a while back.

As with the majority of my own personal projects, I never seemed to find the time to really finish this building, and at this point it looks like I never will. Despite the fact that it’s unfinished, I do believe that it’s complete enough for people to find some value in it, and I hope that some of you will enjoy it.

I sent this out this morning attached to a group notice for the Daikon Forge group.  I am currently at work and unable to log in, so if you’d like a copy now the easiest way to get one is to join the Daikon Forge group and check the past notices for this attachment.

I’ll also try to find some time tonight or tomorrow to sign in and put out a vendor with this building with a free price tag if anyone is interested.

Also know that I will continue to work on whatever C:SI projects I can that don’t require being in-world.  This includes many website enhancements such as a tournament management system, combat statistics, etc. There is plenty I can do in those areas even while being banned, and I will continue to do everything I can to help what I strongly believe is the best community Second Life has ever had to offer.

As for the building, here are some obligatory snapshots:

Of course, I could give away other, possibly cooler, things if only I had access to Robby’s inventory or $L balance. Linden Lab currently has an unknown amount of $L and $65USD locked in my account.

    Worst. Customer. Support. Ever.

Greetings, Since group is max, I haven’t joined a daikon forge group. Therefore, I have participated in the daikon forge group by my alter(akolade). I received house which you made and have arranged it in sky.
Although I can’t do so many, I can tell situation of daikonforge to a Japanese players.
Many japanese players’re also waiting for your return. I hope LL notices a fault early.

Oh I got the building. I don’t know what you’re talking about it not being complete though. Darn you and your sexy/clean builds! lol You could totally sell these kinds of houses and kill other so called Japanese buildings. I have yet to see a build as clean as this one. I say once again, darn you! lol I do hope you get your account back. I even got age verified because of it. However, if not, you can always do houses or the like. You’d probably make more L. :3

Well, it doesn’t have a door, for one thing. And two of the posts have protruding little slivers of roof prim :(

But thanks for the compliment! Also, thanks Shindo for putting Daikon Forge in the #1 slot in Google for the phrase “Kick a Linden in the junk”, haha.

I called Linden Lab again this morning, and was told that they will not discuss the reasons for my ban with me. I just have to wait until they rule from above, cowering in terror and uncertainty until the word of Law is handed down from those lofty heights where the Virtual Gods dwell.

Or, well, that’s what he meant, I’m sure. What they did say is that they will not discuss the reason for the ban, that they will get around to it when they get around to it, and I’ll know more when and if they finally pass judgment.

Kicking a Linden in the junk sounds really fun! I think I will try it but, not to the one Linden that is on my friends list. lol I’m still a little confused. Were you aged verified? Also, support tickets have ALWAYS been near useless to me as well. (And I’ve got about ten or more. lol) However, whenever I’ve done that concierge thingy, I’ve gotten a proper and immediate response. As for your build… I don’t see these slivers and a lot of builds similar to this also do not have doors. XD As always, good luck with dealing with the Lindens… you’ll need it. O_O!

Supposedly there’s no need to age verify if you’ve had payment info on file for three years, as I have.

And even if I wasn’t age verified, why in the hell should that matter? I lead a strictly PG Second Life, and have done nothing that would in any way require age verification. I don’t even sign in to Second Life most of the time because I’m so disgusted with the poor performance and constant breakage, and the one time I log in during the last 30 days was just to report content theft, then I was banned 10 minutes later.

I’m pretty much ready to just say “the hell with it” and give up on Second Life. The only reason I haven’t already is because the Samurai Island community rocks, probably the best community SL has to offer, bar none. I don’t want to let you guys down, but I’ll never trust Linden Lab again. They’ve destroyed every last bit of confidence or goodwill I had left.
