It would seem that today’s viewer update contains, among other things, the ability to display a website on a prim.
It’s not exactly all I’d hoped for at this stage, but it is quite interesting that I can now display my website in-world (click for full size) :
(note that my website looks completely different [...]
So here I am, working really hard on data mining C:SI data without changing the existing C:SI code or database schema (because you can’t change any existing non-trivial system without introducing bugs), and while I’ve gotten farther than I originally thought I would by this point, I keep running into stuff like this:
Here’s another, [...]
Nice to see this morning as I sit here sipping on my first cup of coffee for the day that Linden Lab® has been hard at work on Mono, and have announced a Mono Beta Refresh now available on the Beta Grid.
I’m hopeful that they’ve fixed some of the issues I was experiencing before, and [...]
I’ve mentioned several times on this blog how much I love to gather C:SI usage numbers, and I’ve finally started gathering some of the specific information that C:SI members have asked about in response.
Specifically, while we already gather and display every C:SI user’s all-time win/loss record by region, I’d really like to be able to [...]

In an ongoing attempt to make the Combat: Samurai Island system more comprehensive, compelling, and open we have started working on a few projects that require, among other things, the ability to programmatically discover who is in each official C:SI clan.
Unfortunately, there is no consistency on how the various clan groups are set up in [...]
Uh, yeah… I’m just paraphrasing the following paragraph from a post on the VTeam blog entitled Q&A Series continues with Catching MONO… :
Don’t miss Q&A: Catching MONO tomorrow 1/28/08 & again 2/5/08
Linden Lab® Studio Icehouse is now testing a simulator upgrade which will dramatically speed the running of scripts. The Linden Scripting Language (LSL) will [...]
I’m probably jumping the gun a little bit, but I just discovered a post on SLOG (Mono deployed on the Beta Grid) by Gwyneth Llewelyn that says the anxiously awaited day is here:
At the Linden Lab® Q&A today, following Joe ‘Linden’ Miller’s podcast, Joe just announced that Mono had been deployed on the Beta Grid. [...]
